Something for Everyone

Whether you’ve visited Hawaii before, or are doing research online, you’ll find that Oahu is one of the most unique islands in the state. Oahu is the third largest island and is home to a diverse population which vastly consists of military families. Just minutes away from Honolulu, Waipahu is a great place that has something exciting for everyone.

We love our Military!

Be sure to ask about our military specials! At Kauhale Station, we are committed to helping our service members any way we can. With our prime location, you will find quick access to Schofield Army Base, Wheeler Air Force base and JBPHH. Families will find everything they need around their new home and find commuting around the area a breeze.

Oahu Living

Oahu has many things to do from shopping and eating out, to the fun attractions in town. Enjoy shopping at Waikele Premium Outlets, where you’ll find all the top brands and designers. Experience the island favorites at Zippy’s Waipahu, which is just minutes away from home. Oahu offers plenty of entertainment options, but with Honolulu nearby, the sky is the limit!

Relocating Tips

  • Pack it up!
Inventory all of your belongings before the movers show up & be sure to label what room the items going into (ex. Living room, kitchen, master bedroom, etc.) this will let the movers know what room to unload the boxes.
  • Moving Valuable Items?
If you’re moving high-value items, consider purchasing insurance. Check to see if the moving company you use pays for lost or damaged items. In certain cases you can purchase additional insurance. Take photos of high value items as well as model and ID number for electronics to aide in locating or replacing any high value items.
  • Shipping your vehicle?
Be sure to check with your local shipping company and make sure to follow their guidelines. Once you arrive on island and pickup your vehicle you will need to take it for a Hawaii Safety Inspection. Most auto garages and some gas stations provide this service. You will need to take your current registration and insurance card with you to do the inspection.
  • Bringing your pets?
We welcome pets at Kauhale Station! Make sure to talk to your veterinarian before the move and take your pet’s health records with you. Hawaii has a strict quarantine process for all dogs and cats (regardless of age). However, there are certain exemptions to the quarantine process that may apply. Confirm with your airline all kennel size requirements to meet your pets needs, as well as temperature restrictions to ensure that your pet can safely get on the plane at your departure destination and off the Honolulu Airport.
